Not like a gala, no. We have Wardance ceremonies and the like, and there could be some parties surrounding them, but...well. As I am now, I was not able to attend them anyway. I only know of them from books and news.

The Wardance is to honor the soldiers who fell in fighting abominations of the Abundance. ...enemy faction. There are many duels and contests, as well as a memorial for the lost.

Is this gala celebrating this Prince Callisto in some way? Are there duels I should be prepared for?

I hail from a world that is also a giant ship called the Xianzhou Luofu. But my home is truly the Astral Express, a train that travels amongst the stars. So I would count as an "alien" I suppose.

I try not to hurt people unless they are going to hurt my friends. I am a bodyguard of the Express.
